Love Vinyl - London

I have to say… It feels good to be back home! After two months striding around NYC and Paris, we are finally back in London with the ardent intention to continue the good work started with all Independent Record Shops owners we have met during our trip! And it starts right now with one of the youngest child of the London Record Shops family… The already well known “Love Vinyl”. The initiative came from four big names of London’s music scene. Zafar Chowdhry (Reckless Records - www.zafsmusic.com), Jake Holloway (Village Vinyl), Stuart Patterson (DJ/Producer/Promoter) and James Manero (DJ/Another Party Co-Founder). In the shop you have got Roual, Jake, Dave, Zaf and Sean to walk you through the racks! The space is divided into two distinct parts: Left counter is for latest House, Techno and Disco arrivals and the right one is focusing on second-hand records and rarities. Though, you shouldn’t end the journey there! At the back of the shop, on a simple A4 sheet you can read “All records downstairs at £1”. That was a good enough argument for us to walk the few stairs and discover well-kept treasure! … oh and one last thing… Amazing Void Sound system! Thanks guys!
